Bembridge RNLI’s All-Weather Lifeboat launches to investigate the report of a yacht requiring immediate assistance to the South West of St Catherine's Point
Bembridge RNLI’s Inshore Lifeboat launched a second time following the report of possibly another waterlogged dinghy to the NE of Bembridge.
RNLB Norman Harvey (D-778 Inshore Lifeboat) was launched a second time today (12.01pm) at the request of UK (Solent ) Coastguard to investigate the report of another possible waterlogged dinghy to the NE of the Lifeboat Station. After failing to find anything in the area reported, she returned to the slipway and was re-housed by 12.39pm.

RNLB Alfred Albert Williams (Tamar All Weather Lifeboat 16-17) launched at 11am this morning so as to be available if required to assist any of the Round The Island Race yachts who might have got into difficulty.
